Though not as dapper, Holt the Rotom excitedly hovered around the little butler ghost. Kennedy’s eyes moved to it first, giving a small nod of thanks as it pulled out a seat for her. She carefully sat down, noting the vibe on this was different. The introduction hit, and while she isn’t quite as up to date as she’d like to be on foreign affairs she did, to an extent, recognize Remiel. “Ah, I didn’t expect to meet a foreign dignitary at this kind of event.” She said, keeping her surprise of the situation level.

“Kennedy Quinn, one of the heads of research and development for the Toyaro company in Mauville.” She said, extending her own perfectly manicured hand for a shake. Before he could prod, he supplied him with a bit more context. “It’s a new toy company, but up and coming nevertheless.”

She nodded as she picked up a small cupcake and pulled off the wrapper. Holt buzzed closer to her, sending easy access to a new treat. He opened his little mouth and Kennedy obliged, placing the other half the small pastry into their mouth. At first it looked like it wouldn’t fit but after a moment Holt’s mouth seemed to expand in order to accept the cupcake before they munched along quietly. Kennedy pat down a few more staticky flyaways with her clean hand before turning back to Remiel. “Yes. From design to production, it’s all handled in Hoenn at the moment. Though I’ve heard rumblings of expanding export of our goods to Unova.” The region was a little more modern than most and it had seemed like the perfect place to start expansion.

At least, that’s what she’d overheard. Her job was to design and create the prototypes, not market them. “I think…my boss would very much appreciate the info, and I’ll be sure to pass it along to her.” She made a mental note before adding, “Do ambassadors typically handle business affairs this small scale for their region?” she asked.
